What we built
Free Workout Timer helps people organize workout and rest periods without installing an app or creating an account. It supports custom intervals, one to thirty rounds, a short preparation phase, and ready-made Tabata, HIIT, and boxing presets.
The timer is designed to remain readable across a room. Large numbers, clear phase changes, optional chimes, and browser-generated voice cues let you focus on movement instead of repeatedly checking a small clock.
Why we built it
Many workout timers are crowded with account screens, subscriptions, advertising prompts, or features that interrupt the session. We wanted the core experience to feel calmer: choose a rhythm, press begin, and keep moving.
That focus also shapes the rest of the website. Guidance lives on the guide page, completed-session trends live on the progress page, and the active timer keeps only the controls and information needed during training.
Privacy by design
Your completed workout history and theme preference are stored locally in your browser. Free Workout Timer does not require an account, and workout history is not intentionally uploaded to us. Local data does not automatically follow you to another browser or device and may be removed if you clear browser storage.
Accessibility and device support
The interface adapts to phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop screens. It includes keyboard controls, visible focus states, reduced-motion support, and optional sound and voice cues. Browser capabilities differ, so features such as speech synthesis and screen wake lock remain progressive enhancements.
Who operates the service
The website is operated under the business name Free Workout Timer. Our legal policies are governed by the laws of India. For questions, feedback, or accessibility concerns, visit the Contact Us page or email hello@freeworkouttimer.com.
A practical health reminder
Free Workout Timer provides timing tools, not medical advice, personal training, diagnosis, or treatment. Choose exercises and intensity appropriate for your experience and health, stop if you feel unwell, and seek qualified medical or fitness guidance when needed.
